✅ What is a hard foamed plastic building insulation?
This insulation is a high heat board type material made of polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam.
KS F 4898 divides the product into 2 types, 2 types, etc.
📌 Key Features
Thermal conductivity: Approximately 0.020 to 0.022 W/m·K
Lightweight & Strength: Lightweight but sturdy, easy to construct
Moisture resistance: Low absorption rate to prevent condensation
Application: Insulation in the wall, inside the roof, floor (no external exposure)
✅ Comparison with PF board (reflect ISO 4898)
❗ Precautions for flame retardancy ❗
KS M ISO 4898 standard includes flame retardancy test criteria, but,
→ Not flame-retardant product
